Tara Hagood is a self-taught artist who lives and works out of Jacksonville, Florida. Born in Visalia, California to a single-mother and a colorful family, art has been a constant in her life from a young age. Utilizing it as a form of escapism and expression in the past, recent years have allowed her to re-examine what it looks like to create and pursue art more professionally. 

The themes in her art revolve around the beauty, fun, and magic present in nature, animals, and everyday life. Working in a wide array of mediums - oil, acrylic, watercolor, collage, and cyanotype have been the prevailing bases recently as she expands her professional portfolio. Often described as eccentric, she doesn't shy away from letting her inner-child out and not taking herself too seriously, as can be seen in more of her popular pieces like "Just One Of Those Days".
